Norman Corwin, the poet laureate of radio, introduced The Jester Has Lost His Jingle at David’s memorial service in 1990. All who heard his reading of David’s story – five years before its publication – never forgot his beautiful rendering of The Jester.
In his memory, 101 Jester books will be donated to children with cancer.
