(Clara) Barton Elementary School

During the three week read-a-thon students from Barton Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 181,081 pages. The school, along with the S. Mark Taper Foundation was able to donate 35 copies of the bilingual edition of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA, for use with their pediatric patients.
