During the four week read-a-thon students from Foster Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 50,557 pages and donated 40 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su gracia and 40 Jester & Pharley Dolls to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, CA, for use with their young patients.
