During the three week read-a-thon students from Jefferson Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 245,597 pages. The school, along with the Adams Family Foundation and the Seidman Family Foundation, donated 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su gracia and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA, for use with their young patients.

Fall 2018

During the three week read-a-thon students from Jefferson Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 290,892 pages. The school, along with Friends of The Jester & Pharley Phund, donated 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su gracia and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA, for use with their young patients.

Spring 2018

During the three week read-a-thon students from Jefferson Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 474,728 pages. The school, along with the Adams Family Foundation and Benita Epstein, donated 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su gracia and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA, for use with their young patients.

Spring 2017

During the three week read-a-thon students from Jefferson Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 274,938 pages. The school, along with the Adams Family Foundation, donated 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su gracia and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA, for use with their young patients.

Fall 2015

During their fifth read-a-thon, students from Jefferson Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, in three weeks, they read 306,261 pages, far surpassing the 211,530 they read last year! The school, along with Innovative Solutions Insurance Services was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su gracia and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA, for use with their young patients.

2014 – Fall

During their fourth, three week Read-A-Thon, students from Jefferson Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 211,530 pages. The school, along with Toyota Auto Body California, Inc., was able to donate 33 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su gracia and 33 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach for use with their young patients.

2014 – Spring

During the three week Read-A-Thon students from Jefferson Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 206,418 pages. The school, along with the Adams Family Foundation and Ms. Donna Snyder, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su graciaand 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach for use with their young patients.

2013

During the four week Read-A-Thon students from Jefferson Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 193,530 pages. The school, along with the Morgan-Stanley Foundation, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle/El Bufón ha perdido su gracia and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach for use with their young patients.
