During the three week read-a-thon students from Mack Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 20,534 pages. The school, along with USC’s Good Neighbors Campaign, donated 35 copies of bilingual edition of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Orthopaedic Institute for Children in Los Angeles for use with their young patients.
