During the month long read-a-thon, 406 students from Lark Ellen Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether they read 217,590 pages. The school, along with the Chapman & Associates Charitable Foundation, was able to donate 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to 5 Acres Foster Care in Altadena, CA.
