During the three week read-a-thon students from Pyles Elementary School kept journals to document their reading.
Altogether they read an amazing 279,226 pages. The school, along with Scripps-Howard Foundation, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Kaiser Permenente in Anaheim, CA, for use with their young patients.
