During the two week read-a-thon, students from Russell Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 94,300 pages. The school, along with Freedom Forum, was able to donate 35 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 35 Jester & Pharley Dolls to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for use with their pediatric patients.
