During the three week read-a-thon, 560 students from Shenandoah Elementary School kept journals to document their reading. Altogether, they read 329,236 pages. The school, along with their sponsors, was able to donate 30 copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle and 30 Jester & Pharley Dolls to the pediatric patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
